Workplace Problems - The 21st Century Disease
Numerous surveys and studies confirm that occupational pressures and fears are far and away the leading source of stress for American adults in today’s world. Stress has steadily increased over the past few decades. Over 75% of employees believe that workers have more on the job stress than a generation ago. Job stress is more strongly associated with health complaints than financial or family problems. Research shows that 80% of workers feel stress on the job, and 50% say they need or could use help in learning how to manage stress. Approximately 20% of workers have left a previous position because of job stress. And 25% of workers experience depression as a result of job-related problems. Let Catholic Family Service help you with any or all of the following topics.
